This weekend I had a tremendous opportunity to attend the National Land Conservation Conference, organized by the Land Trust Alliance (LTA) in Sacramento, CA. Known as “Rally”, this was an amazing meeting that brings together the conservation and land trust community to learn from each other’s work. I also had an opportunity to speak to provide a case study for the land trust’s work organizing the public education campaign which showcased the land trust’s work on effective advocacy and educational outreach to the community for the 2014 Rural and Critical Land Program’s bond referendum. We are so lucky to be able to do the work we do in Beaufort County and have the incredible support in this community. To learn more about this work, read the Fall 2015 edition of Saving Land, LTA’s magazine. SavingLandMagazineFall2015_0
